Shortcode Based Service

MessageMedia utilises a large range of shortcodes to provide messaging services to its USA clients. In order to reach some very small US networks we use long-codes on a very limited basis.

Standard rate shortcodes are mandated by US carriers for A2P (application to peer) SMS traffic. Longcode based messaging can not provide the delivery speed or reliability required by most commercial users of text messaging. The advantage MessageMedia offers business customers is the benefits of high throughput, reliable shortcode based SMS services without the significant set up or monthly costs normally associated with shortcodes.
